Description:

Tobies, sometimes called "sharpnose pufferfish" are diminutive puffers with a somewhat elongated snout. They are generally less than 4 inches long .

Habitat:

It is an endemic species only found in Hawaiian waters and doubtless adjoining areas around Hawai'i. It is most commonly found in shallower waters on the reef, but does also inhabit deeper waters throughout the reef.

Love these little guys! Is your spotting date right? You just saw it today? Also you can move your marker on the map to the coast so that it does not have you snorkelling on Haleakala:) Nice spotting, John!
