Green and Black Poison Dart Frog

Dendrobates auratus

Description:

Just like the name says...green and black in colour.

Habitat:

Captive at tropical World, Leeds.

Notes:

Wikipedia says, "The very small amount of poison the frog possesses is enough to make a human heart stop beating." It is so pretty that I almost stopped breathing anyway...photographing through two layers of glass wasn't easy...sorry for the poor quality.
