Hi TTS Julia e Rita, thanks for your comment, in Catalonia were I'm from we also have this one, we call it "Bernat pudent" is green and if someone crushed realease bad odor as well.
In Portugal we have a similar beetles, called "fede-velha" (around here are dark green or brownish). Teh one you spotted this seems to be the same family, although with slightly different aspect.
One of the characteristics of this insect is that realeases an unpleasant odor when threatened (or crushed)
