Ganoderma applanatum
This fungus was mostly brown, with a white band near the edge. It was about 6 inches from end to end. It had a parasitic relationship with its host tree, which was 30 feet tall.
This was found in a secondary rainforest on a cloudy day in Singapore. It was given partial shade by medium-size trees above it. I this outgrowing fungus on a tree, about 1 foot off the ground.
