Longhorn

Bos taurus

Description:

Wild Longhorn cow spotted resting in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It doesn't look super thrilled to be my 2,000th spotting, but it was the only animal I saw on my hike this frozen winter morning...

Many thanks for all the great comments, and special thanks to everyone who has helped with identifying my unknown spottings! It has been a lot of fun collecting and sharing wildlife and plant photos with everyone on Project Noah over the years!

Congratulations Sargon on 2000! Great achievement and spotting! I was hoping to find a longhorn on my last Texas trip - It just didn't happen.
