Description:

Small catfish that has the typical barbels and catfish shape. Mottled brown with darker brown on head and faint dark brown saddles down the body. They have pectoral spines, some of which are serrated and they also have a venomous sting.

Habitat:

Woody debris in or near rocky riffles and runs of the Clinch River.
