Quiscalus quiscula
Found in the parking lot of a Sunshine State Parkway rest area.
I was eating a piece of cake while I was stretching my legs. As soon as these birds noticed I was eating they they gathered around. There were quite a few. The brown one is a juvenile.

I love that there a birds called grackles! We have a bird here in Australia that used to to think of a “grackles” because they mutter in a way that sounds like “grackle grackle grackle!”. I think they’re friar birds. And now I have to look up what actual grackles say.
Hi tomk3886,
I love Grackles. I hope you gave them a little bit of your cake.
