Plectranthus scutellarioides
Coleus blumei (Plectranthus scutellarioides) is a bushy, woody-based evergreen perennial. The species has many cultivars grown as ornamentals due to the showy, variegated leaves, and the species is also known to be used in traditional medicine in various cultures around the world, but not in Greece, where it is a popular garden plant. The pictured plant was spotted in a flower pot, in a house garden in Tzoumerka mountains, Epirus region, Greece.
