Description:

Large butterfly, approximate 5 inch wingspan. Black body with yellow bands. The upper part of the body is light colored.

Habitat:

Temperture zone.The butterfly is pollinating verbina plants in a drought tolerant butterfly garden. The butterfly retreated to nearby bushes to gain protection from predators.
