I only ever saw its head, but I would assume it's brown all over.
Saw him moving dirt out from his hole in a semi-arid habitat.

Thanks Emily and Tom! We were actually just sitting at a picnic table eating lunch, and I kept seeing something moving, and finally he came up enough for us to see him. It was pretty cool!
I've seen mounds of dirt like these, but never the Gopher. Great spotting and shot!
