A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
This incredible, heart-shaped, forest green leaf can range from around the size of a baby's foot, to a five year old's foot. Its vains are going out, from the middle line, out to each half of the heart. This leaf is not exactly soft, but silky and has a kind of waxy texture.
I found and took this picture at the Dairy Farm Nature Reserve, among a bunch of dead leaves, twigs, thick, wet sticks, and soil on the ground below.
I love this leaf because of its heart shape... I love all plants that represent a cool shape!
