Clavulinopsis helvola
Clavulinopsis sp.? According to The Collins Guide to Mushrooms and fungi by Paul Sterry you need a microscope to distinguish, with certainty, between C. luteoalba http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.j..., C. helvola http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.j... and C. laeticolor http://data.nbn.org.uk/interactive/map.j... judging by NBN gateway distributions, C. helvola is the most common so I'll go with that for now!
