Description:

This particular spotting is in reddish variation, quite large around 15 cm in length. They can be well camouflaged to their surrounding, usually attaching themselves to substrates that is similar in colour. Spines protrude from head and body ridges; elongate snout usually with a few white bars; variable shades of red, brown, yellow or green, often with gold speckling. Solitary.

Habitat:

Sponges, gorgonians, soft corals, coral rubbles and weeds of coastal reefs in 10-25 meters depth.
