omg! I posted wrong common name, during the search i opened few windows and copy the wrong, the common name is Sea mallow...I apologize.

Just another check, my new book shows Lavatera maritima as Sea Mallow (Feb-May) and Lavatera arborea as Tree Mallow (Apr-Jul).

You're welcome! I saw five petals which are visible in purple and green part of flower, also family Malvaceae is recognizable by stamens and flowers always have five petals...

I discounted that one because I thought mine only had 4 petals. A closer look does indeed show part of a fifth, just visible. Thanks.
