Great call Liam
Thanks for ID Lian!
Bill is too long and skinny for any kingbird. I'd call this a Cattle Tyrant.
Not sure what you think not on. That it is or is not a Tropical?
I think not Jellis!
But the tail does match a Tropical. The bird looks like it's in transition?
This the photo I took of a Tropical Kingbirdhttp://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/192...
Wouldn't the bill be bigger on a Tropical?http://www.birds.cornell.edu/crows/kingb...As seen not just compared to the others, but that the bill almost looks longer then the head is.
Thanks for your help bayucca and Debbie!
I would agree with bayucca that this is a kingbird having seen them myself in Guyana but we can wait for Liam to say for definite.
Must not be that juvenile...I think it is Tropical Kingbird...http://www.flickr.com/photos/flaviocb/se...Let's wait for Liam to confirm...
I do not know, bayucca!
