Cabbage Butterfly

Pieris rapae

Description:

Whitish blue butterfly with grey spot and tips on its wings. Blue coloured body with long antenna. Nectar sipper.

Habitat:

Urban backyards.

Notes:

I suspect this is a cabbage butterfly, however, I've never seen a blue one, do they come in blue? I've only seen the ones with greenish yellow colouring.

You say it's worn, is the blue colour a character of this?
