A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Cygnus buccinator
Heaviest bird native to North America, and one of the largest waterfowl on earth.
Large shallow ponds, undisturbed lakes, pristine wetlands and wide slow rivers, marshes.
Took this while on holidays in Canada. Taken at a wildlife rehabilitation park somewhere between Parry Sound and Toronto, unfortunately don't remember the name.
