A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Odocoileus virginianus
Female mammal, doe with one offspring, faun.
Upland Oak-Hickory forest of the Piedmont.
Doe and faun were crossing the Yellow River when the water was at low level, it had not rained in 5 days. The River passes through a residential area, but the county owns most of the land immediately adjacent to the river and leaves it wild which gives the wildlife cover.
