Chlorostilbon lucidus
This is the female of the Glittering-bellied Emerald. It is less colourful than the male. It has a long and visible white elbow. It is an Apodiform bird that belongs to the family Trochilidae. (Apodo means with no legs, in fact all this Order has short legs)
Very common in Argentina from the Buenos Aires province to the north. This picture was taken in Ribera Norte natural reserve in San Isidro, Buenos Aires.
