Spotting

Description:

Some Nymphalidae I believe. Four chrysali were present. Chrysali were 1-4 meters off the ground; the tree was Wild Cashew (Anacardium excelsum).

Habitat:

Open area surrounded by tropical forest.

Notes:

I saw an ant brush the front of one and it seemed to jump back (in an accordion-like motion, I think).
