Cepphus columba
This was my first time seeing one in winter plumage. Unlike in the summer when they are mostly black with white wing patches, they are mostly white with some dusky gray on their backs and heads in the winter. Their distinctive feet, however, stay red all year.
In a boat harbor protected from big waves by a small island and jetties.
