Noticed these casings and a bunch of emerging lady beetles on my tall weed plant. Each casing was about 1.5 cm, orangish/red with spots on them. The lady beetles that emerged though didn't have spots or had very faint spotting. There may have been upwards of 20 larvae casings on the single plant stalk. It was a very cool find.
west central ga I believe on some dogfennel weed.
