Lion

As it was World Lion Day yesterday thought I'd share this spotting of a beautiful Male Lion with an impressive mane, from the Masai Mara, Kenya. The second/third photos have the female Lioness too.

Habitat:

Grasslands, savannah

Notes:

I'll also separately post a lion from Samburu, the difference was striking with the Masai full of abundant prey whereas in Samburu the Lions were thin and you could literally see the daily struggle to survive.
