Description:

There's nothing quite like watching dozens of Turkey Vultures taking advantage of windy skies! Turkey Vultures are abundant raptors here in the Southeast. They are often seen soaring in large numbers in the open sky and sometimes are spotted sharing a meal of roadkill with the more aggressive Black Vulture.

Habitat:

Open skies and moss-covered cypress groves.
