Bright colour with nice patterns/markings on their body, this Harlequin Shrimps are popular among underwater photographers. They are usually found in pairs (Pic#1) with the small one being Male. The Female can grow up to around 5 cm in size. On the rare occasion, there can be 2 Males with a Female. They can either be in pink or blue in colour. Pic#3 is of a separate sighting, a Female by its own.
They are usually found under Rocks or crevices and tends to stay at one place if there are food around them, unless disturbed.
