Cladonia coniocraea
It is a genus of moss-like lichens in the family Cladoniaceae. They are the primary food source for reindeer and caribou. And now about Cladonia coniocraea: Podetia grey-green, slender, tapering to a point or terminating in a very narrow cup no wider than the podetium, sorediate in upper part, corticate and usually squamulose near base; basal sqamules incised, white beneath, often sparsely sorediate on margins and underside; apothecia rare, brown, on the tips of the podetia.
Common in woods among moss at base of trees or on rotting stumps, on mossy trunks and decaying stumps and logs. Pollution resistant, can be found in urban areas.
