I found this beetle at the trunk of a tree. A bit less than 1 inch in size.
Does anyone know what the scientific name of the beetle is I couldn't find out?
Elateridae, Dendrometrinae, Prosternini, Selatosomus sp. (subgenus Pristilophus) and must be Selatosomus festivus. Nice little and tough exercise in the early morning ;-)
Nice one!
