Buteo lineatus

Description:

I'm not sure if this is a Cooper's or Red Shouldered? I'm still learning the fine art of hawk identifying, lol.

Red-shouldered Hawks have a longer tail than most Buteos, and have a crescent shape towards the end of the wing, which can be seen in your photos.

No, unfortunately not. It didn't seem quite big enough for a Red-tailed, but I am admittedly a novice when it comes to identifying hawks.
