Northern Cricket Frog

Acris crepitans

Description:

Small, gray and warty frog. I suspect this may be a female. Large amounts of this species of frog were around the pond on the campsite and were singing loudly the night after a big rainstorm.

Habitat:

Campground within temperate forest.
