Heteropteryx dilatata
This is a Male nymph of Phasmid, Heteropteryx dilatata. This species is high sexual dimorphism, if you are not familiar and do not see the adults pairing, you wouldn't think they are of the same species. Males are mostly brown/grey/black in colour, adults are with full wings. Females are mostly green in colour and in rare occasion, yellow in colour. This species is highly spiny not only on the body but especially on their hind legs which they used as in defence by striking at you, which may cause pain or deep scratch.

Female of this species can be seen in this Spotting : http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/922...
