Pink Bonnet?

Mycena rosa? M. pura?

Description:

These pink Mycenas are difficult to distinguish from each other with macroscopic features alone. Here's a couple of links that outline some distinguishing features apparently different books detail different differences between the species; http://www.first-nature.com/fungi/mycena... and http://www.first-nature.com/fungi/mycena... Mycena pearsoniana also appears similar, this link describes it as being quite small (up to 20mm across) http://home.online.no/~araronse/Mycenake... rogersmushrooms says up to 3cm across. It is a rarer mushroom with only 99 records in the UK on nbngateway. Mycena pelianthina looks similar but has a dark edge to the gills. Other similar species to these pink Mycenas are some Laccaria species which I think are usually a slightly different colour (for example laccaria amethystina is usually purple and Laccaria laccata is orange-brown)
