Hawaiian Hibiscus

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

Description:

A domesticated flower with many different colored cultivars. This one was dark pinkish red. The Saw edged spade shaped leaves are a dark glossy green.

Notes:

The wild genus Hibiscus is native to tropical Asia. The domestic plants are called Hawaiian Hibiscus, Chinese Hibiscus, or China Rose among other names.
