Description:

Large brown flightless bird. Juveniles are striped ceam and brown and stay with the male for up to 18 months.

Habitat:

Spotted in Mungo National Park. Found in open plains and woodland.

Notes:

This Dad took the chance of getting his brood across the road as we were coming along.
