Description:

orchid, terrestrial, single leaf

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

When I first spotted this I wasn't thinking it was an orchid. It wasn't until I went through some of fellow rangers Craig Williams numerous orchid books that I learned it was an orchid. Spotted in Tangkoko Batuangus National Park.
