Phlox (species TBD)

Phlox spp.

Description:

In full bloom along Ocala's roadsides and fields. They are a Phlox, but I just wish I knew which one. There are several around here... some native, some not.

Habitat:

Roadside.

Notes:

So lovely how they make a raspberry-pink blanket in the fields and along the shoulders of the road. Makes the drive to work in the morning so enjoyable.
