Both in a way. First I would have to find a way to transport the plant from the forest to a city or somewhere I can send or bring it home, without it dying. A plant like this would need high humidity and warm temperatures and would be difficult to transport all the way to Canada. I would also have to identify it to see if it is on the CITES list, then I would need a permit and proper paperwork to take it out of the country legally. I also travel a lot but I do have a lot of houseplants, mostly succulents and cacti. Ideally I would like to get it to a greenhouse or nursery in Colombia so they can propagate it and maybe get seeds, which would be easier to take back home but then there is the problem of getting it from the forest to a nursery. There are many factors involved.

I'm curious why, there are some restricts or you travel a lot and you can't keep house plants?

I would love to Atanas but it's much easier said than done.
