Spotting

Description:

Tiny brown, round cocoon that's anchored to the leaves in a few places. This was about 3 mm across and is already empty. There's Barklice and Psyllids immediately near the sac but there are dozens of species on the tree.

That is my thought but again, I'm looking to see if there's something else out there that makes this. Most Green Lacewing cocoons I've seen documented are white but this is the second one I've seen that's brown.

Some lacewings have cocoons like this but I'm not sure if that's the only one.

don't bugs usually lay a cluster of eggs?

Looks like a bug sac, not spider but I'm not sure.

Black widows usually have white sacs.
