Description:

Also known as the Stinkpot for their ability release a very fowl smelling odor to deter predators. They have a high domed shell that is mostly smooth, and the skin is dark with yellowish-green lines on the face/neck.

Habitat:

Found in freshwater in the eastern US and Canada. They prefer heavily vegetated areas.
