Common Peacock

Papilio bianor

Description:

All month I had been watching this beautiful butterfly fly through the garden at full speed, not even looking like stopping, the the day before I left Uttarkashi, on my birthday, it stopped (well it hardly stopped! Wings going at a 100 miles an hour, and just sipping and flying off!) and i managed to get these photos. Quality is not good, but ID might be possible...
