Krigia biflora
The two-flowered cynthia is a yellow-orange, dandelion-like wildflower that sits atop a smooth forking stem. The flower is approximately 1 1/2" (4 cm) wide. Found in open woods and meadows.
There were several groupings of these wildflowers along the roadside next to a dried up marsh meadow.
