Description:

It occurs in the central part of the island at elevation of between 1500 and 4000 feet in the jungles of foothills to higher hills. It is not very common and are usually found near forests. The males fly swift and the females are contrast being flutter and rather weak in their chosen localities. The male rests while its wings lay flat open, upon a sun dappled spot on the jungle floor.
