Description:

This poor butterfly was nipped at a few times. It is tan with broken band pattern. The thorax and wings near the thorax are blue.

Habitat:

Sage in backyard. This species is found here in "Southern California, east through the Southwest, Mexico and Baja California to Guatemala. Wanders and temporarily colonizes north to Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, and Louisiana."
