Saddleback Wrasse

Thalassoma duperrey

Description:

Blue green fish with dark blue-black head and a dirty red neckline between the green and the dark blue. Pretty long 6-8'

Habitat:

Shallow tropical waters

Notes:

There quite a few of these, but each swims on its own, not in pairs or schools. My Kauai book had a picture of this fish. It says that it is endemic to Hawaii
