Wallace's Flying Frog

Rhacophorus nigropalmatus

Description:

This pair of frogs were found alongside the "road" into the Danum Valley Reserve where they had already spawned. Not visible during the day it took several attempts to find them and finally there they were in full full on the leaf following a very heavy rain shower

Habitat:

Dense tropical jungles of Borneo, particularly around pools of water

Notes:

This was one frog I really wanted to see on our trip!
