Description:

Large (~5cm length overall) yellow and black spider hanging in its web along an old road.

Habitat:

Tropical, normally tradewind-swept semi-arid coastal promontory.

Notes:

Spotted along the road to Makapuu Lighthouse on Oahu. This species is quite common.
