Lovely butterfly with very strange eating habits; I wonder what sort of mud covered the ball, maybe it has some kind of unknown chemical.....and it's right on your garden!!! Semi-deserts or deserts may be a matter of perspective.....
Nice pictures; some are nicer than others....as it normally happens...
