American Herring Gull

Description:

The herring gull has a white and grey body with a yellow bill. The bill also features a red spot.

Habitat:

Coasts, rivers, lakes, and other habitats throughout North America.

Notes:

This gull was part of a large group at the Herring run in Brewster. The gulls were searching for herring swimming upstream to spawn.
