Roosters can not fly. A domestic chicken live an average of five years. The roosters are distinguished from females or hens, a bright red skin on each side of their beaks and a few red feathers and skin protruding from the top of its beak. These features make living in a wild habitat, it hard for cocks escape predators.

Habitat:

It is common to think of a rooster as living outside a country house in a coop or in the courtyards of rural residents. However, the habitat of the cocks of today is very different from natural habitats were centuries ago.
