Life and mathematics! very nice example of 5-fold symmetry. Silene colorata starts to fold down during the day with heat. Early in the morning is completely unfolded. The 4th picture is from a fresh one, early in the morning

Right Alice! When is hot I can only find them completely open very early in the morning, and then, slowly, as the temperature rises they roll down slowly until you cannot see very much of them. But the next morning they are there, completely unfolded
