Yes, it is a Laetiporus species. Whether or not it is Laetiporus sulphureus the true 'Chicken of the Woods' I can't say, because all Laetiporus species look pretty similar. But it doesn't really matter which species it is because they are all edible and do all get called Chicken of the Woods.
